Colby Smith DC
Dr. Colby grew up in Othello, WA (in the heart of the Central Washington desert). He was an athlete, playing both basketball and football. After high school, he moved to Spokane intending to pursue career in engineering. His cousin, Dr. Karl Smith D.C., however, saw a promising chiropractor and suggested Dr. Colby shadow him for a few days.
In chiropractic, Dr. Colby found a way to combine his interest in how things work (biomechanics) with an ability to help people improve their lives. Dr. Colby graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2007. On a trip to Anchorage in February 2012, Dr. Colby fell in love with Alaska and set out on a mission to move up. Everything came together at the end of the year, and on December 3, 2012, “Midtown Chiropractic” was born.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Colby enjoys hunting, playing miniature games, and brushing up on his WWII history.
Born and raised in Alaska, Alicia Marie Brown graduated from UAA with a BA in Theatre and Dance [Concentration: Technical Theatre] and minor in mathematics. She loves working at Midtown Chiropractic where they promote health, happiness, and also where “it’s a great day” every day.
When not at Midtown Chiropractic, she enjoys stage managing for theatre and dance companies or playing with her beagle, Roxy.
A self-described life long learner, Chris Gibson was born in Anchorage, Alaska and spent most of his childhood growing up in Valdez, Alaska. Growing up he spent his time playing basketball on the school team, fishing and camping with family, babysitting his brother and sister and learning card magic/manipulation. Now a days, between his interest in technology, video games, science fiction novels/movies and the human body and how it functions, he’s always trying to learn something new or share something he’s come across.
